Although not always recognized consciously, this self-image is influenced by one’s beliefs about their personality traits. The self-concept that emerges from these beliefs also shapes how others perceive an individual, based on certain recognizable traits.

The human brain is wired for self-preservation, seeking pleasure and avoiding pain, and responding through fight, flight, or freeze responses. However, this mechanism can lead to issues such as addiction, depression, anxiety, procrastination, and low self-worth.

What is Rapid Transformational Therapy® and how does it work?

Rapid Transformational Therapy (or RTT®) is a hybrid therapy, created by Marisa Peer, known for its efficiency in discovering the root cause of a client’s issue and helping them let it go for good.

Rapid Transformational Therapy (RTT) is a therapeutic approach developed by the British therapist Marisa Peer. It combines various techniques from different therapies such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), hypnotherapy, and neuro-linguistic programming (NLP) to help individuals achieve rapid and lasting change.

The central premise of RTT®  is that our beliefs and thought patterns are formed during childhood and can be powerful influencers of our current behavior and emotional responses. By identifying and addressing the root causes of these beliefs and patterns, RTT aims to help individuals overcome a range of issues, including anxiety, phobias, addictions, and self-esteem issues.

In RTT®, a practitioner guides the individual into a state of hypnosis, which allows the individual to access their subconscious mind and uncover underlying beliefs and patterns that may be contributing to their issues. Through a process of questioning and reframing, the practitioner helps the individual to reprogram their beliefs and thought patterns, leading to positive change.

RTT® is often praised for its ability to achieve rapid results in a relatively short period of time, typically within one to three sessions. It is used by a growing number of therapists, coaches and mental health practitioners worldwide as a complementary therapy for a range of issues.
